Credit Cards with 0 Percent Interest for 24 Months

When you choose a credit card that offers a 24-month 0 APR, it provides a way to buy big ticket items that you would otherwise need time to save up to buy, without paying high interest rates. You can also manage debt by moving a card balance that has a high interest rate to the zero-interest card as a way to cut expenses. However, it’s very rare to find a card that has zero interest for 24 months, and the ones that do are actually deferred interest rather than zero interest, so debt is still accruing, aCC0rding to Wallet Hub.

Citi Simplicity Card

The closest credit card to having 0 interest for 24 months is the Citi Simplicity card, aCC0rding to Magnify Money. At 21 months of zero interest, it’s one of the longest zero-percent introductory offers available. This card doesn’t have late fees or annual fees, but there are also no rewards offered for using it.

Associated Bank Platinum Visa

While it doesn’t offer a full 24 months 0 interest, the Associated Bank Platinum Visa comes in close at 20 interest-free months, aCC0rding to Magnify Money. This card doesn’t offer any rewards, and is noted as being a little complicated by Magnify Money, but it provides an extended interest-free period that can be useful for paying down debt.

US Bank Visa

The US Bank Visa card offer 18 interest-free months for new aCC0unts, aCC0rding to Magnify Money. The card is described as being a bit complex, and after the interest-free period ends, the APR becomes variable. This card is useful for emergencies and purchasing large items without paying a lot extra for interest fees.

TruWest Visa Platinum

The TruWest Visa Platinum has a zero-percent introductory rate that lasts for 18 months, or billing cycles, as shown by Magnify Money. This introductory rate applies to both transfers and purchases. At the end of the 18-month period, the card as an APR of 2.05 for the remainder of the time you have the card.

TruWest Visa Signature Card

This is the second TruWest card to make the list of cards that have a longer-than-average zero interest rate introductory period. The Signature card from TruWest has an 18-month introductory period, aCC0rding to Magnify Money. The card is also given an A rating for being very transparent with customers. At the end of the introductory period, the card has a variable rate.

Sphere Credit Card from Santander

While the Sphere credit card from Santander is described as being a bit complex by Magnify Money, it has a zero interest rate period of 18 months. The offer extends to both balance transfers and purchases. At the end of the 18-month introductory period, the Sphere card has a variable interest rate that ranges from 14.74 percent up to 24.74 percent.

TruWest Platinum Points Visa Rewards Card

The TruWest Platinum Points Visa Rewards Card is the third card from TruWest to make the list of cards that have an extended zero-interest rate introductory period. This card has an 18-month interest-free period. Balance transfers and purchases are included in the introductory offer, and at the end of the interest-free period, the card has a variable rate.

BB&T Bright Card

The BB&T Bright Card is a Visa card that has a 15-month interest-free introductory rate. This card offers protection if it’s used for unauthorized purchases, and it also has travel and emergency protection. The card has no annual fee, and it goes to a variable rate for interest at the end of the 15-month introductory period.

The Union Bank Visa Credit Card offers an introductory rate of zero percent for the first 15 months. At the end of the introductory period, the rate becomes a variable one that’s based on your creditworthiness. The zero-percent interest rate applies to balance transfers as well as purchases, and there’s no annual fee.

The Visa Platinum Card From United One CU is rated as a bit complex by Magnify Money, but it does offer a 15-month introductory period with a zero percent interest rate. The interest rate moves to a variable rate at the end of the 15 month interest free period.
